On July 1, 1987, Phillip "Snakefinger" Lithman died of a heart attack while on tour with his band, The Vestal Virgins. He was a long time friend and collaborator of The Residents and had recently finished the massive 13th Anniversary Tour through Japan, North America, Europe, and Australia. The Residents put together this beautiful piece to play at a wake in San Francisco and a studio version was released as a very limited edition CD by their fan club, Uweb. Here is both the studio version and the live version on vinyl for the first time. White and Blue vinyl edition of only 218 copies.
